My fiance and I are getting married in Feb 2011. And we are planning on taking our honeymoon in May 2011 but we just had a "bump in the road" and do not know if we can really afford to go in May(fiance really wants a balcony and its like 1400 dollar! but really wants to go in May). What is your advice, should we wait to save money and go another time(not what we want to do exactly) or book a last minute cruise deal(maybe 2 months in advance) and go in May? We have not booked the cruise yet, but I was looking at last minute cruise deals for Feb and Mar, and it seems like we would save money, since we do not really care about the location of our room(just a balcony) and I am a past guest so I get a "discounted rate?"
Also, what are some expenses to consider before booking a cruise(cameras, passports, etc)? I have been on a cruise before but that was in high school(about five years ago) and do not really remember.
And how long does it take to get your "cruise contents" once you book, like the luggage tags and tickets and stuff?
@Aari Lee. Really? You are so ignorant, my fiance is not black, you JACK@SS. I do not see color in people, I see them for who they are, not what stereotypes or categories the media and society puts on them.
