Should I get a bluetooth earpiece?

I just got a new phone, and I drive a stickshift car, so it pretty uncomfortable to drive and talk at the same time, not that I do anyways, but sometimes I do have to take calls. I was thinking about getting a bluetooth earpiece but then I realized that I haven't seen anyone with a bluetooth earpiece lately. Is it because they are ineffective or uncomfortable? or what? should I get one?
 
I think its a good idea at least be safer nd
their are people with them maybe they just have it on the
other side where you cant see it
