Should I get a ps3 slim? Why? Games?

I am thinking of getting a ps3 slim. But I need reasons why I should get it. Like what are its features. And what games should I get to start off with. I am not a big fan of shooting games but mw2 and uncharted 2 are acceptable. Basically just throw in any game u think I should start with and why.
Why should I get a ps3, give me reasons, and give me game suggestions.

The slim is a great deal. You get FREE PSN (online privileges and play) and Blu Ray. As for games you should get Uncharted 2, God of War 3, Resistance 1 and 2, Final Fantasy 13, Killzone, Bayonetta, Infamous, Assassins Creed 2, Batman Arkham Asylum, Borderlands, Dragon Age: Origins, Devil May Cry 4, Heavy Rain, and Grand Theft Auto IV.

Just to clarify, the PS3 and PS3 Slim have pretty much no difference, just ones smaller. There are absolutely no confirmations that the Slim overheats more than the Phat, or that games run smoother.

Well, PS3 can does almost everything you see.

Play HD Games
Watch Blu-ray
Play your media device content (camera, camcorder) and can be save into ps3 hard drive
surt the web
play music

PS3 Slim is good solid all in one device that is future proof with 3d as well.

DO NOT get the ps3 slim if you are a heavy player because you arnt supposed to play that long on the slim one. Also I heard that games sometimes slow down and of course you will get lesser features. If you are going to spend so much money just buy the Large one.
