Should i get a Truck or SUV for my next car?

later this year im thinking about gettin either one I want a car where i can sit up high and have alot of hauling capablities. To be honest i have no use for a truck but i would like to get a job where i can use either one i heard SUVs take more gas than trucks...idk i guess i just want more car to love i have a chrysler sebring and it looks nice with chrome rims but its not me to be honest

I would think it depends on how dirty you plan on getting the vehicle. If you're planning to haul things like car parts or building materials, you probably want a truck. You're not going to want those sorts of things inside an SUV. If you're thinking of hauling cleaner things, then an SUV would be fine.
As for gas, it completely depends on what you get. My husband has a Dodge Ram 1500. He loves it, but it only gets 12 mpg. I have a Jeep Liberty (not really an SUV to me...) and it gets 16 mpg.
