Should I get an LG Nexus 4 and an iPod touch, or an iPhone 5?

I'm after a new phone so.....

The new Nexus looks gorgeous and crammed with awesome features but I'd want somewhere for all my apps and stuff off my current iPod Touch. I'm after a new iPod touch anyway since mine got stolen and I'm back on my 2g. (That's why I'd want an iPod touch as well as a phone)

OR
Should I get an iPhone 5; smartphone and iPod touch rolled into 1

They both tally up to about the same price (nexus + iPod is £1 cheaper) so what do you think?

I've got an iPhone 5, I'd suggest getting one. As you said its everything rolled into one.

The iphone, it's going to be lighter and easier to carry than a phone and a ipod
