Should I get blu ray movies if I don't have many DVD's?

As you can tell I don't have many DVD's and just got a PS3 and was wondering is it worth it to get a library of Blu rays or just buy the DVD for cheap.

you didn't say if you had a surround system or a HDTV if you have both you will get a great picture 1080P and great surround sound. if not stay with dvd's your ps3 will upconvert the dvds.
