Black Friday is coming around again and i see some good deals on Amazon with RAMs. My desktop never got any RAM upgrades before but I've made a graphics card and PSU upgrade with a 430 watt battery. I remember that I got a battery just enough to support the new graphics card's power usage so i didn't have to spend more on a more powerful PSU. But now that I want to make a 4GB/8GB RAM upgrade, I'm not sure how much power RAM draws and if it'll go over the 430 watt..
I have a 64x system, Windows 7, GTS 450 1GB graphics card, and CX 430 Corsair PSU. There couple of questions I have right now is:
- Do RAMs draw a lot of power?
- Is it too risky with a 430 watt?
