Should I give my guinea pigs a bath/wipe down? (and how do I do it?)?

I got 2 guinea pigs about 2 weeks ago from someone who obviously didn't care for them very much. The cage was filthy and smelled like ammonia and poo...

Since i've gotten them, i have cleaned the cage once a day (not a problem, takes maybe 10 minutes), and i've rigged up food bowls and the like...

But one of them has a little bit of poo stuck to one of his feet that I tried to get off by holding a damp washcloth to it...DIdn't get it since I didn't want to stress him out a whole lot...

But they do need a bath, or at least a 'wipe down'...
How would I go about doing either, and what soaps/cleaners are safe?

I have no 'special guinea pig' shampoo, just dish soap, laundry soap, regular dog grooming shampoo, and 2 kinds of flea shampoo. (and i imagine none of those would be safe)

Just because they're small and can't speak doesn't mean they're gonna die if you use some human soap on its feet. Just use it! Wet its feet under the faucet and rub some soap, rinse, and dry off. It's not gonna die because you did that.

hmm well guinea pigs really don't need baths they clean there selfs but if they really do stink maybe you could gently wipe them with one of thoses baby wash cloths? or maybe a damp towl?
