Should I go on tour or stay in school?

So I'm a semi pro bass player. My band and I are in an independent label and we are about to plan a tour across the west coast of the US. The problem is this tour is definitely going to cut back on my school time. Now this is a once in a lifetime opportunity but at the same time, its not a sure thing... Its not like after this tour we'll be huge (I'm pessimistic). The most I'm expecting is we'll end up gaining a few fans. On the other hand I'm a pretty mediocre student and going on tour is all I ever dreamed to do. I guess the only thing holding me back is my parents being disappointed that I dropped out for the semester... What would you do? Drop out of college for a semester and pursue a career in music? or stay in school where you'll get mediocre grades.. B's mostly..
B's and C's... my gpa is a very mediocre 2.7

Stay in school. Although you might want to have this be a live-in-the-moment thing, you might major in music theory sometime and be able to do even bigger tours... live out your dream BIG. Consider trying to tell your kids not to drop out of high school to play in a band while knowing that you did during college. Not easy.

Just my opinion.
