Should I go on vacation if I expect a job interview call soon?

I put in an application for a job that I really, really want. This is an extremely competitive position, and I am one of a handful of people who know about it and applied. I am feeling confident that I'll be called for an interview soon. The problem is, I'm leaving on a cruise in 11 days. Should I just cancel it now or do I try to explain the situation to them if they want me to come in on a date when I'll be away? I'm worried that asking them to work around my trip might cost me the job, but I don't want to cancel my trip and lose a lot of money unnecessarily, either.
 
Wow, there are so many variables in this situation that are not available in order to provide a better answer. For instance; your age. Your current job, and how long you've worked there. The job you're pursuing, and why you want it. The quality of your resume (i.e., did you write it, or did you hire a professional?). Is your resume a "Targeted" or "Trolling" resume? How long it's been since you last interviewed for a job. If hired, would the job be a lateral move in the company where you currently work? How long ago did you schedule the vacation? Is there any chance of obtaining a refund? Can you sell the cruise to a friend or family member? Even if you incur a minimal loss, selling could be the answer. These are some of the things I'd need to know to provide a better answer. Aside from all that, and in order to give you at least some perspective on perhaps making a decision, I would go on the cruise, especially if you scheduled it more than a month ago, and there is absolutely no chance of a refund at this time. Make sure that someone can answer the phone for you here while you're away, and do a professional job of explaining that you are currently unavailable, but will return the call as soon as possible, ex., "This is __________, and I am managing _____________'s appointments while she is out-of-state on personal business." You may also want them to schedule an interview appointment for you on a date following your return (but without letting the caller know that you're on a cruise). Check in every day or whenever possible with that person. But with all of this in mind, you know what you have to do if this job is really, really that important. I hope this helps at least a little.
