so, i have windows 7 ultimate, but the question is, which one will be faster for me? 32 bit or 64 bit?
these are the specs of my computer:
AMD FX 6100 (3.3ghz 6 cores)
AMD radeon 5450 2GB
4GB of corsair vengance 1600mhz ram.
i am currently using 32 bit windows, i don't care about the updating price, i just want to know whether updating to 64 bit will increase the performance of my PC.

Windows 32 bit can access a maximum of 4GB of memory. Some of that capability is reserved for graphics memory and BIOS features. Since you have 4GB of ram and 2GB of graphics memory, using a 64 bit operating system should result in an increase in the amount of memory the computer can access, so you will see a performance increase.
Hope that answers your question!
