Should I not take my 2 year old son to PetSmart during puppy classes?

My son loves puppies (and so do I); however, our landlady won't let us get one. I've brought him to PetSmart a few times (the first was just an accident) during the puppy classes so he can walk around and look at all the puppies. He gets to pet quite a few and the owners seem to be just fine with the situation - a lot of them think he's cute (of course, I agree). I never let him approach them unless the owner makes the first move and is happy with the situation. However, I was wondering if this was bad for the puppy's training? Should we not go anymore so that he doesn't interfere with what the puppies are learning? I never really thought of it, as they have the puppies out on the store floor during business hours, but it just dawned on me today that maybe we shouldn't.

no its acctually good for them! IT gets them socialized which is a crucial part in owning a dog. If you don't socialize it then you are going to have an out of control dog on your hands.

Bring your kid. As long as the owners are okay with it and make the first move its actually GOOD for the puppies training. Not all dogs are exposed to young children and the experience is good!
