Should I purchase a 2002 BMW 325i?

As a college student with about $11,000 would it be wise for me to buy a 2002 BMW 325i with 90,000 miles for $9,000? If I do about how long will it last me and what is the cost to maintenance the vehicle? I'm used to a Toyota Celica if that gives you something to compare to.
 
BMW's are nice cars, and when you don't have any issues you will love it. The problem is once the car needs repairs, whatever it may be, it will be quite expensive. If you know your way around the car a bit and can keep up on the maintenance I would think it to be a perfect car for you. If even the smallest repair means going to the shop, or worse, the dealer, you will be spending a lot more money than most other car makes.
