Should I trust torrent files?

I really wanna download this game but it says it can harm my computer.. and my computer is my life. Do you trust torrent files, should I? Did it mess your comp up?
mmk thank you.. i didnt know they were illegal.. i thought they were just another thing someone did.. my bad

You can't 'trust' torrents because you can never be 100% sure of the source. But if you read the comments of the torrent, have good anti-virus and backup systems then you should be ok.
