Should I use eFax or regular fax?

I currently have a real fax machine and a dedicated fax line, however I want to move my phone line from AT&T to Road Runner phone, and am trying to decide if I should move the fax line to RR, or to eFax... (eFax is cheaper), is there a way to keep the same fax number?

Also, are there any better alternatives to efax?
