Absolutely not. Besides, who really cares of God and religion these days. All republicans preach is the teachings in Christianity and somehow try to incorporate it in their campaigns and whatever else they do, but for what? So people who are spiritually founded can be touched and vote for the a**hole. They all exploit "God" in hopes to seek money, power, and respect but can truly give two s**ts about religion. "God" is like an automatic "you got my vote" card for these people so they throw around the christian teachings to fool everyone and most of the time it works. Ever notice how these people who run for office and preach the book always get caught in some kind of major scandal? Come on now! Sarah Palin was a drug using whore in college, Bush was a coke head back in his days, and actually take your pick with any republican or democrat and chances are, they're all a bunch of immoral pigs that just wanted your vote. Will teachings of the Mormon history have any significant change on politics? Well, if it can get your vote, then yes, let it be exploited, however, since it doesn't favor the general masses, then no. Religion is a man-made ideology that's used for greed and power. Nothing about it is true. Remember, God saves you, not religion.
 
All religions have their kooky parts. Please, Obama does not want anyone asking about the candidates' religion. He wants that aspect of his life out of this race.
 
Aren't liberals always screaming about the separation of Church and State to the extent of opposing the posting of the Ten Commandments in Courthouses?

If you truly support the Separation of Church and State how is it your business what a politician's religion is.

In many other countries politician's private lives including their faith, is not a matter of public record.
They look at America and sometimes wonder if we are electing a President of a Pope.
 
Why should the media treat Mormons any differently than than every other group?
 
I wish they would, but it would have to be from OUR perspective, as WE are the ones who know best what we believe, and what our history is. Since we allow other religions to define their own doctrines, they should allow us the same priviledge.
 
I'm very well versed about the subject. I fail to see the point you are trying to make.
