Should we abolish the current tax system and just introduce the flat tax?

If the government eliminated the taxes being taken out of our check and Gave us the flat tax instead, would you be for it?

We should go back to the higher taxation of the rich as it was under Reagan, at the very least. Someone has to pay for the road work, teachers, police, firefighters, etc. and it sure won't be the unemployed person or guy making minimum wage. Better yet let's tax them at 90% as it was in the past in our country. That worked well in building prosperity. Why anyone defends the rich having more money and no accountability is beyond my comprehension.

Hmm. I would be in favor for it. It would probably work better than our current tax system in place.

Either a simple low flat tax (if 10 percent is enough for God, it's enough for the government) or a consumption tax (FairTax) would be acceptable for me.

No the progressive tax is the only way America can maintain.
