I think that technology is great in ways of helping people in health care and making our militaries better and giving us entertainment, but really are we overdoing it? Some of the things that scare me the most are:
1. Virtual reality worlds because people may become SO obsessed with these that they may not want to live their own life!
2. Genetic engineering because what if we make ourselves simply not human anymore? What if we turn ourselves into something that we're not?
3. No privacy! Think of all the surveilance equipment that has been invented? Who's not to say that something will be made where someone can watch you in your own home!
I think that technology is good but that it is also advancing into fields that should be left alone. I realize that there's good/bad sides to EVERYTHING, but I just beleive that people are better off without some technologies?
