Should we get a Volkswagen Tiguan, or is there a better choice for a mid-size SUV?

My family's looking to get a new car, and we're looking at mid-Size SUV's because we have 5 people in the family, and the sedans are pretty crowded. I've looked at the Tiguan, and the Chevy Equinox, and the Terrain, and thus far the Tiguan has been the best, especially because of its turbo to give it that extra power that the Equinox and Terrain lack. We haven't tried the CR-V or Rav-4 yet, but we intend to.

Are there any other cars out there that we should be considering? Or are these probably the best options and if so, which one do you think is the best?
