shouldn't there be a ban of liberalism in government? Separation of church and state.

No, Real liberals are atheists, while most conservatives are evangelical Christians or right wing terrorist Zionists.

No majority, whether liberal or conservative, can rightfully impose any set of morals, not pertaining to objective criminal law, on the whole population.

If allowed to occur, the "church" has become the state.

Do you mean "Modern Progressive Liberalism" or "Classical Individual Liberalism"?

You really lost me with the premise which is why I was asking what you actually meant.

Or has USA gone gaga?

LOL

Your initial premise is flawed hence your conclusion flawed hence your question unanswerable.

People keep confusing Liberalism with Progressivism. True Liberals are not like that. It's the Progressives that push separation of church and state to the point you no longer have the freedom of religion in schools but then turn around and try to merge the EPA with churches by coercing churches to preach about global warming and ecological and social justice.

its funny what we call and dont call a religion, if religion is faith in something that isnt completely proven than just about everything is a religion, science is a religion, liberalism is a religion etc.
just an interesting observation.
