i have had a skin rash for anout a month now, and i dont know what it is. i have gone to the doctor in previous years, but they wwont tell me what it is, and they always give me a topical cream or ointment to put on it.that doesnt work. i have gotten a kenalog injection before, but it only went away for about a week and then came back twice as bad.
it mainly covers my forearms (below my wrists to my elbows). there is a little bit on my hands and on two fingers (the base of each) on my left hand.
it cant be contagious because nobody else in my family has it, and i have gotten it every winter for the past 5 years. (im 15)
it appears in small red bumps. the bumps sometimes fade to skin color, but go from pink to skin color.
it get very itchy. the only thing that makes it stop itching is any hand cream with sparkles or glitter. i know thats wierd, but it works and helps it go back to a normal color.
some of them look like itty bitty zits.
i know it is not scabes, chickenpox, or the measles. or a heat rash. i know it may look similar to a heat rash, but it isnt. i've had a heat rash before, and this covers my arms, and i dont like my arms being covered.
it cant be an allergy because the only thing im allergic to is metal, so i stay away from it.
oh, and each bump is about 1mm x 1mm, if not smaller.
and i live in nevada, so it is very dry.
i hope i provided enough information. i need to know what this is so i can get rid of it. people avoid me because it looks gross.
please please PLEASE help me.
