...speakers is all i have, want subs!? I need an amp (obviously), subwoofers, and sound-deadening fabric.
ALL of the factory speakers were replaced with 4 JL Audio Tr-400-CXI speakers, there Rm watt output is 35watts. AND the alpine puts out 18w x4channels, I'm guessing as to how this is all wired up because it was all done by professionals...
SO i have a new head mount, 2 speakers in the front flush with the dashboard, and 2 in the back, a foot or so behind the rear seats....
I'm not sure with what subs to go with, i was thinking two of them though, probably 12, 15 or 18' in the back... though if i got 2 subwoofers. That would mean my car would have 6 channels... there are very few amps for 6 channels can somebody help me here?
AMP, i haven't come close to picking one out... i think i'll take two speakers of the headmount and leave them, so that works out perfectly and leaves me with only 2 channels + whatever subs i want to add, right?
Also, i'm probally going to build my own box... i can't go with ported, i usually have ot much stuff in my trunk and the car can get dusty... so is it a better idea just to buy a box? how much better are they?
Ow and where should i put my car amp?
