...vacation without having child services? He was 8 the first time and 9 the second the worst part is he lives in a really nice neighborhood that isn't gated, and you how burglars always hit those streets especially during the holidays(he was left alone both times during christmas time) hes very smart and mature for his age and responsible when he has to be. hopefully they don't do what they did to him last year and let him get on the wrong plane.
I didn't know he was left home alone until after the fact and yes both times there was no one checking in on him, If it happens a third time I'll step in his parents seem to only go on vacation during the holidays so I'm not worried about him being left alone at this time, I still can't believe they let him get on the wrong plane, what a trooper being able to take care of himself in a city hes unfamiliar with

I would assume it depends on where they live,where i live (neb) you would not get away with it once,let alone 3times.Any parent should know that a 9 yr old is to young to be left alone for days on end.Are you sure there is no one watching or checking on this child?If not,you sir,have a duty to call the law on these people and get something done.
