My cousin invited me to go out for a game with some friends from his year. I told him my plans of announcing how much I loathe the sport to everyone Manchester.
He just gawked at me, picked up his cell, and bolted out of the room.
He came back later with a look I didn't like. It looked kind of suspicious, you know, like he was scheming something.
Then he tells me his friends (mates as he said) were eager to me. So we leave the house and make our way to his old school to play.
We get to the field and I see a whole bunch of people gathered on one side. They were a bit intimidating. They all mean looks on their faces and were glaring at me.
Me and Thomas (my cousin) go to meet the people at the center of the field. He greeted some of them by name (I think they were his friends).
Then this one big guy comes out from the crowd and points at me, asking "Is this her?"
Thomas nodded and gestured towards the ball. He said it was my only defense.
Then it dawned on me. Some of the people in the crowd were holding bats and other lethal objects.
They're gonna hurt me!
So I'm writing this all from my phone right now.
My question is: Does anyone have any strategies to take down a crowd of say, forty angry people, with one ball without getting fatally injured?
