so is the 220 frequency the 23 cm band? how does one figure that?

how do u calculate to find the 23 cm band. i know u can divide 146.520 in to 300 and that tells u that is the 2 mtr band.
 
The 220 Band is about 1.3 meters - see this handy calculator:

The 23cm band is 1240 - 1270 Mhz
