Ok, so tomorrow I am going on a 3/4 day fishing trip. The boat has enough reservations to go. However, the forecast calls for 4-5 foot swells at 12 seconds, 7 knot winds, and maybe some rain. I know light rain rarely stops a trip from going, but I am worried about the swell. My question is what is that maximum swell a typical SoCal Sport fishing boat will go in?
