Something is a miss with my blueray player?

okay this is going to be a lil hard to explain but ill do the best I can. when i want to play a blueray disc it will play. but then the sound wont be on. I have to switch the tv for that then it wont show a picture. can someone explain to me what is goin on and how to fix it? thank u
 
You have the video and the audio connected to the TV for two different inputs. Disconnect the audio cables from the TV and try all the other audio inputs till you find the ones that go with the video input you're using.
 
How are you connecting the blu ray to the TV? I'll bet you are using both patch cords and an HDMI cable. I would take the cables out and start from scratch. You have mixed inputs.
