Sometimes my LG Pop doesn't connect to my computer with USB?

When i connect my LG Pop mobile to my computer sometimes it doesn't connect and i have to do it over and over again until it finally connects. But other times it works fine and connects easily first time. This really starting to annoy me now so does anyone know what might be wrong and how i can fix it?
