Sony Ericsson Experia Play. Im having a huge problem with it?

I just bought an experia play (used/2nd hand) but there is a problem with the touch pad,, when im going to composs a text message, i couldn't type well, if i press 'A' button, it touches 'S'
If i press 'B' button it touches 'M'
what do i do???
Is this a software problem or The problem with touch pad???? Please tell me?
What would happen if i ugraded the version to ICS,, please give me a solution

Since Xperia Play is used solely of gaming purposes, people use it blady adversely....... so keypad becomes weak, and you said that you have got a 2nd hand........ simple as that.... its due to heavy usage caused the keys to malfunction and poor power supply to keypad, it can be sought out by giving it your nearby android hardware technicians...........
