Sony Ericsson Walkman player equalizer?

Yesterday i got a new Sony Ericsson w910i and it's great and all, but when it comes to playing rock music, the drums sorta override the guitars, making them as a noise in the background. The vocals are fine though. Before this, i owned a Sagem my850c and it has an excellent quality speaker, with great bass. I'd be really grateful if someone knew how should i tweak the equalizer to make it the best as possible for playing Rock/Metal music.

I just bought the W8 (Sony Ericsson Walkman) Phone, the reason i bought was to have great sound Quality...but it lags, there is no option to change the Sound frequency (it is just single). I am not really happy.
I just compared it with the Sony Ericsson Walkman MP3 Player, i feel that is delivering extreme sound quality...but when check with the Sony Distributor, they told that it will delivery the same Quality...but it is not.
I am not sure whether it is Hardware/Software to be tuned/installed to get that Quality.

Also there is no voice recording (that is basic feature)
