Sony Vaio Laptop Qu - 10 points to the computer techspert who can help me?

I want to buy a Sony Vaio S series laptop. There are several different models of the S series and I can't seem to see very much difference other than price wise. I have narrowed it down to 2:

VPCSA36GGBI for $2599 AUD at http://www.sony.com.au/product/vpcsa36gg

and

VPCSA35GGBI for $2199 AUD at http://www.sony.com.au/product/vpcsa35gg

Firstly, is this a good computer and secondly, what is the difference between these two besides the $400 in price.

the cheaper one has 2 gigs less RAM, but the cheaper one has 6 gigs and that is a lot. RAM is the muscle of your computer. the cheaper one has a BIGGER hard drive, but less dependability when it comes to hard drive failure
