Sony walkman won't connect to the PC.?

I've got a Sony Walkman NWZ-E438F and now I tried to connect it through the USB with my PC but it won't connect.
The screen only stops at the connecting-screen and won't move any further, thus the Windows Media Player nor the PC doesn't recognize a new hardware connected.
Anybody got a clue how I could connect it properly?
 
Try installing the correct drivers for the MP3 before connecting.
