Speech recognition software (to use Word) for Mac?

I am writing a paper, and I have 60 or 70 blocks of texts from several books that I need to type into Word.

Recently, I purchased a Macbook, and I later discovered the computer's voice recognition software. While this doesn't seem to work with Word (as in speech to type capability), I was wondering if any free software is available for this reason.

As you can see, being able to simply speak the text would probably save me a lot of time and effort. Any ideas?
