religions are true? If you follow one religion it's because you believe it's the right one and that the others are false.

If you place a bet on a sports team it's because you think they're going to win and that the others will lose. That or that there is a very good chance they will win even if it's not guaranteed. I mean if I thought hinduism or islam were the true religions dont you think I would be part of those instead of christianity?

And also how is it "hateful" to call someone deluded? All it means is that you think theyre blinded to the truth, saying that somebody is an imbecile, a piece of crap, a retard, or a waste of air is what I would consider hateful. Saying that someone is deluded simply means that you think they are wrong, it doesn't necessarily mean that you think they are scum.

I don't think any of them are right.

It's not hateful, but it is a bit ignorant to think your religion has more credibility than another when in fact none have any evidence whatsoever (especially not evidence that is specific to said religion and no other)

Christianity and Judaism are both true.

also there is only one God, Allah and there are many gods so Islam and Polytheism are both true.

And we ascend to heaven and are reincarnated on Earth at the same time so clearly, Buddhism and Christianity are both true.

It is not hateful to call someone deluded. It is hateful to call someone stupid (Matthew 5:22). Although notice Jesus says shall be guilty enough to go into hell, not surely go into hell.
 
No. *No* religions are true.

What is objectively true is determinable only by examination of the evidence. That's called science. Religion ("faith") is the antithesis of that.

That isn't to say that anything said by any religion is necessarily untrue. But things that are true are true regardless of who says them. It is through evidence, however, and not faith, that you *determine* what is true.
 
"Deluded" does tend to have a negative connotation, but you're right, it's not as bad as many other things you might say.

It is impossible to look at the contradictory, competing religions of the world and say that they are all correct on any literal level. And I know that to some atheists, that is all there is. But if you are able to accept symbolic truths that connect us to the ineffable, in that sense all the religions can be true, in that they all offer paths up the same mountain, and the peak of the mountain is enlightenment, or nirvana, or samsara, or what have you.
