Step by Step instructions to make a mp3 cd with 100+ songs?

I was wondering how to make a MP3 cd with 100+ songs. I know that you need to change the format from WMA/WMP to MP3 if using Windows Media Player, but how do you do that? And can you use Itunes to do this? Please help, thank you in advance!
