I'm sure this question has been asked before but I need help installing an after market stereo in my 95 Toyota Celica. I know the installation basics but can't find anywhere to tell me the silly stuff that only women seem not to know.
For example:
Do I need to disconnect my battery before I begin installation?
What are the risks of electrocuting myself?
Where should the receiver for my stereo remote be placed during installation so that it will pick up a signal?
And if there's anything else you could think of I'd love for you to throw it in there.
I don't know the model number on my stereo at the moment but I'm sure I could dig it up by morning. I just know that it's a Kenwood off the top of my head.
I'm 18 and this is the first work I've had to do on my vehicle on my own. Beings as I'm female I seem to have been born completely inept to anything regarding cars.
Please, any help would be appreciated. I would take it in to get it done but I figure I can do it on my own and I don't want to waste the money.
Thank you so much to any help you guys can give me.
