I have a sony strde695 reciever. I have just gotten a new set of polk speakers. when i press the test tone button the speakers are this loud( 1-10). FL 7 C 9 FR 3 SR 7 SL 2. I got the new speakers since the FR and the SR (yep SR) were not working. Also the SL was quiet before. Anywho i swapped front speakers and they the original FL is quiet connected as the FR and the original FR when connected to the FL is loud. I replaced the speaker wires for the FR and still its quiet.
When I play with the level command I still cannot get the FR and SL to get louder.
Is the receiver broke? Is there a simple way to fix the receiver?
