Steve Nash of the Los Angeles Lakers has suffered a broken bone in his leg. Thankfully for Nash and the Lakers, this injury isn’t as serious as it sounds. For now, the future Hall of Famer has only been ruled out for one week.
Nash was injured when he was kneed in the leg. The injury is officially being called a non-displaced fracture of his fibula.
This is more bad news for a Lakers team that is already dealing with a lot of bad news. In the preseason, they lost all eight of their games. To begin the regular season, they are 0-3.
With Nash out of the lineup, Steve Blake will start at point guard.
