Ok, I have a really sweet sound card in my pc. It's an HT Omega 7.1. There are options to listen to media files using 2 channels (with DTS Neo Pc, EX Xear 3D, and 7.1 Virtual Speaker Shifter), 4, 6, and 8 channels (all of which have EX Xear 3D and 7.1 Virtual Speaker Shifter).
When I play a mp3 in 2 channel mode with 7.1 virtual speaker shifter and EX Xear 3D turned on, it sound phenomenal. In 6 channel mode (I have a 5.1 system), not so much.
My question is; Does anybody know a somewhat easy way to convert mp3's to be natural 5.1 with the awesome sound of the 2 channels virtual up-processing without sacrificing quality?.... if that makes any sense...
Basically, I want to play my music in 5.1 with the sound quality of the 2.0
