Swimming away from the boat...dumb move?

I definitely think so. They would've been found by now, and not at the mercy of the open ocean.

Everyone knows from the survivors of World War II shipwrecks in the Pacific that swimming away from the lifeboats was a guaranteed death.
 
Dude they were already found they need time to do Autopsy's etc. on the bodies I hate to be the bare of bad news but that's the truth it's the stuff that isn't televised and if they haven't been found tonight was predicted to be a wind chill advisory meaning it's very cold and they could potentially get hypothermia due to lack of hydration and being in such cold conditions I am not a doctor but I can say theres about a 30 percent if not a 20 out of 80 chance of survival Rest in Peace to these young innocent men who's lives were taken so quickly.
