Ok for every one saying its impossible to change a Motorola droid from a CDMA to a GSM phone, I'm sorry it time for me to prove you wrong if other wise please comment:
okay I'm going to go threw step by step how to change your Motorola droid from a CDMA phone to a GSM, only thing is which ever provider your going to try to connect to will run your ESN or MEID check and see its not supported by them, there's ways to swap ESN and MEID's with another phone but I'm not going to get into that right now: just changing your CDMA phone into a GSM;
HERE WE GO;
STEP 1: go to your dial pad on your droid like your about to make a call
STEP 2: dial this exactly as shown *#*#4636#*#*
STEP 3: okay you have menu big whoop, time for some magic, click on "PHONE INFORMATION"
STEP 4: scroll down all the way and you should have a few selection bars, click on the bar that says "CDMA auto(PRL), above it you'll notice it says set preferred network type, ya that's what were looking for!
STEP 5: once you click on the bar that says CDMA auto(PRL), a list will show up with different types of networks, the one were looking for is GSM auto(PRL), just scroll up on the list and you'll find it
STEP 6: choose it of course, and exit all that crap and a pop up will show up on main screen, it will say "phone will restart now", after all now your Motorola Droid is a GSM phone

That may be the case, but how would you then put an AT&T Sim card into that Motorola Droid phone that is now a shiny new former CDMA to GSM phone? What? What's that? No Sim card slot? OMG!
