Syncing ipod touch to a new computer?? please helpp?

I got a new computer and i am wondering what will happen to the songs and apps if i sync my ipod touch to this computer. will they get deleted?? because i had to search far and wide for some of the songs and i had to pay for some of the apps so im really hoping thats not going to happen.?? is there a way to prevent it?
 
are u syncing to the computer or onto the ipod

cos if your synicing onto the ipod then yee i think they will get deleted
but if your putting songs from ur ipod to the comp... i dont think u can
 
Alright if your scared all ur stuff is going to be deleted. Put all ur stuff onto a CD and then sync it. Since u have a ipod touch though it should say that this is not a authorized computer. Put all ur stuff into the computer with a disc and put all ur stuff into a new computer. When you do download a free app from ur computer not ur ipod touch and double click it. It will ask if u want to authorize ur computer, click yes and everything should be fine.
