Take subtitle out of divx avi file?

You can take them out with a program called MKVMerge. When you load a video into the program, it shows all the video, audio, and subtitle streams within the file. You can then check/uncheck the ones you want to keep and mux the file together to create a copy without the subs. Found at: http://www.videohelp.com/tools/MKVtoolnix.
