My fiance has a companion animal for some mental issues, and we are planning a trip to Death Valley in June, where the average temp is between 80 - 120 (f). Leaving him with a friend is really not an option.
We live in an area where we average 60 - 75 (f) daily.
What precautions should we take before taking doggy on our trip with us?
I know the basics, getting him checked up before, carrying vet records, bringing food , water, treats, toys etc. But is there anything special to do for such extreme heat?
Breed: Corgi.
