Hey guys,

I recently slept with a guy I don't know that well. Just happens that during for play he inserted the tip of his erect penis into my anus for about 2 seconds. I remember telling him off about it and insisted he put on his condom. He had one in his pocket which , to me , is a good sign. However, 5 hours later I found my self trembling with fear and anxiety. I was worried that somehow in the 2 seconds his penis was inside me, some pre-cum or fluids managed to enter. I don't know his history and this was killing me. So I decided to head to the nearest STD clinic and ask for the post-exposure meds. Am I taking this too far ? The meds are causing awful side effects. I feel tired and unmotivated most of the time.
I'm still scared and ashamed because I had been 3 years celibate and last time I got tested was in April and I was STD free!
I don't normally do this and I'm afraid I have let my self down. I just though, being a final year student at uni, I can't afford to wait around without doing something about this ergo the PEP. I'm keeping my self hydrated most of the time and I'm trying to fight the side-effects. Did I do the right thing with taking the PEP? Do you have any tips about how I can lessen the symptoms ? And finally, If he was STD free and I took the PEP , would all that anti-viral medicine have serious side effects in the long run ?

I'm totally against one night stands but alcohol and fatigue made me give-in. I'm usually against the gay stereotype that gay men can't control their urges.

Waiting for you answers !
