Telus security service or avast anti-virus?

No opinions please just factual answeres!! There both using a fair bit of memory on my machine and i want to kill one but witch one?? telus looks like a really good security service with a software firwall and email service ect. but the idea of taking avast off is kinda scary! please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
please research Telus before answering.
telus is my internet provider
and they have premium security service
 
Telus uses Command security software, which I could not find out much about. That right there tells me it's probably not that good. But the few web sites I did find that rated did not rate it very high. Often ISP wanting to save money but still offer security software will go with a cheaper vendor

I have always used avast and have never gotten a virus or anything, i also like how it actually tells you that it has been updated. Id say keep avast, and scrap the other.
