text inbox question (LG RUMOUR)?

Hi everyone :)
alright, so today i texted quite a bit considering i was home all day with nothing to do,
so my inbox filled up to 85 texts. usually i let it fill up to 100 and it doesn't do anything.
every new text i got after 85 texts would come with an alert saying " Inbox is 85% (or more) full. Please delete some messages. " why is it doing this all of the sudden? is it because my battery was low? it's never done this before. I'm just wondering if i set something for it to do that, anyways... if this has happened to you please let me know.
 
It always does that. You have HAVE to delete the messages after you have like 40-50. Its too much memory the phone is using with those texts. DONT let it fill up to 100 texts. Delete them frequently.

you may want to go to your settings and make sure its on auto delete for inbox messages
