Textfree on itouch question?

I have textfree on my itouch and everything works on it except the volume. Whenever I get a text, I have no way of knowing unless I look at it. It doesn't like beep or anything even when I set it to a certain ringtone. The volume in general is working though like for games and stuff but not on textfree and the volume is Always up
 
Go into settings and then notifictions on your iPod, there should be a option where you can turn on the setting fir all your different apps there. Textfree should be in there. :)
 
In the textfree in-app settings the sound might be off, check that. And in your iPod settings go to textfree and check the notifications and see if that's good.
