lower his asking price? Looking at a local Craigslist add on a used 2001 HD 883 with 8000 miles the asking price was $17,000 THAT'S "SEVENTEEN THOUSAND"

I will pay $3000 for an old used HD 883, then I want to make it look like a bigger bike so I can ride with other HD Riders.
I have a notion to call this guy up that wants $17K for his bike and tell him "HE'S CRAZY"
BIG TONY, I already own a 05 Yamaha FZ6, with Givi bags and I was already offered $5K for that bike.
But you can understand that bike doesn't get along with Harley's
boglin, you're right, but I need a Harley to be accepted by majority that already own harley's.
yes I will be holding my nose while riding a HD883, but the new friends and the excitement and action i will get may be worth it.

Tim D,,,, I don't like harley's, to me its a junky, underperfomance bike, I just want one just so I can ride with the other harley guys, those guys have the most fun, pick up the beautiful girls, and I want to look like a tough guy. Then the next day I can ride alone on my rice rocket.
