The best vacuum cleaner (available in UK) for picking up pet hair from carpets?

Dyson. Be aware though that the first time you use it it will picks up so so much more than other vacuum cleaners which can sometimes result in blockages but that's only because its so efficient and once these are cleared its fine. I think they do one specifically for allergens, which obviously includes pet hairs.
